- About Me:
- My name is Tiffanie Tillman, President and Founder of The Virtual Professionals, a virtual assistant company headquartered in Orlando, Florida. My business and my team are home-based virtual assistants. In addition to my private practice, I also volunteer at local associations and organizations as a mentor to other small business owners.
I began my career as a magazine publisher for an entertainment magazine in 2001. I quickly realized the growth and movement toward the Internet and moved most of my services online. Right away I saw a need for administrative and professional services for small to medium-sized businesses (I, too, was in need of this type of service for my company years ago). Since then I’ve made a lot of mistakes and had a lot of great successes at the same time. Looking back, I wouldn’t have done anything differently… jumping right into ventures is what I do best. Now I’m passionate about sharing my experience with people similar to me, who have decided to take their career into their own hands and work for themselves.
I am the mother of one very socially active 9 year old son. Between martial arts and basketball practice I enjoy reading, bike riding, protecting our environment and volunteering time to help young entrepreneurs grow their business ideas.
I hope you’ll find my posts to be enlightening and useful to your business or personal life. I certainly look forward to learning a lot from you as well.

Teach Us About: [Joint Ventures] 10.17.2007
On Monday, I had the idea that I'd like to pursue the concept of joint
ventures in my social networking work.
I believe that with all the talent I see here on MLPF that many of us
would benefit from pursuing joint ventures or comparable concepts for
our businesses.
Of course, that started me to wonder, "Can someone here on My Linkedin
Power Forum teach us about joint ventures?"
